Valencia Trip
On the 21st of April we went to Valencia for a 3 day trip. We got there by our "friendly" airline Ryanair. Why friendly? A roundtrip ticket for 7 euros :) You shouldn't have any other questions about it... The weather was realy great - temperatures up to 27 degrees Celsius. From the airport you can get to the centre by metro, it is also easy to reach the beach by tram, so there aren't any problems with transportion for tourists. The first night we slept in a hostel called "Home" which we truly recommend (http://www.likeathome.net/).
Valencia has got a beautiful city center with architecturally beautiful buildings and churchs and many other original places like "Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias" which has a very modernistic look. We spent a lot of time on the beach, which was full of people who were sunbathing, playing volleyball & frisbee and enjoying their free time.
After three happy days in Valencia, we came back to Madrid with red skin :P

Paper airlines :)
Red Bull Paper Wings spanish edition...
On the 30 of march we took part in Red Bull Paper Wings Event.
We were involved in 3 competitions:
-longest distance
-longest flying time
-acrobatics
In every one of these, we came in the first 10th.
However, Monika's result were the best of all of ours (second place in acrobatics) - those which you can see in the photos.
If you watched Spanish TV on that day, you would have been able to see us in the evening news :)

Puerta de Alcalá monument
Puerta de Alcalá is a monument in the Plaza de la Independencia in Madrid, Spain, very close to the city centre and several meters away from the main entrance to the Parque del Buen Retiro.

Sala Palace – Playboy Party
This news is dedicated specially for Macieja, Fotolek and Dred.
The last weekend was a very long one. It started on Wednesday in a small club called Mint – a well known place for Erasmus students. At about 2:30 o’clock most of the people went to Pacha club (including us of course) –then, we finished the party at about 6 o’clock.(next time we probably upload some foto or video reviews)
The next day, as usual we got free entrances for the party – this time at Palace Club for “Playboy Party”. The party was really massive, with many performances of naked girls and boys :P It was a real international party, everybody had a sticker with his country of origin.
There were great opportunities to make some new relationships with people from the whole world.

Madrid at night ... ?
Yes! We've decided to do some photo-reviews of Madrid at night. We will put up one photo per week.
The photos will be of various kinds of things like; monuments, botellons (parties outside), clubs, parties, house parties and so on :)
The first picture will be of the ¨Tio Pepe¨ neon sign. We think that everybody who does some sightseeing in Madrid has seen it.
It is near metro Sol so if you are going to a party or have a meeting with some new friends, it is hard not to see it.

The Madrid Arenas :)
On Sunday, we decided to visit the most known arenas in Madrid :D
The first one is:
Plaza de toros. It's the first photo relation, but not the last. We are waiting for corrida - then we will put the photos of the inside :)
We are not scared of bulls :P
It's getting hotter and hotter every day :D
The second one is:
Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. One of the most well known football stadium in the world.

Snow Zone Madrid
Probably, most of the people who come to Madrid for Erasmus are thinking about a hot and sunny place. To our suprise, there is (20 km from Madrid) a huge sports hall called Snow Zone where people can practice snowboarding and skiing. The place is well equiped with rails, boxes and lot of other stuff to improve freestyle skills.
Here are a few photos. The bigger photo review will be done, probably, in one month's time because there is going to be a great freestyle event.

Marcin's new flat:
Z niewiadomych powodów, Marcin postanowił zmienic swoje lokum, co było bardzo zagadkowe. Jak się jednak okazało, wszystko wyszło na jaw już po pierwszej wizycie w jego mieszkaniu - Marcin mieszka teraz z trzema laskami :D Chawira miesci sie przy metrze Quevedo - jakies 20 min. butami od Centrum :)

Real Canoe Madrid- Vamos chicas!!! :P
Wczoraj byliśmy na meczu naszej polskiej kolezanki- Kasi Dłużyk, którą to poznaliśmy całkiem przypadkowo na naszej ulicy! (okazało się, że w naszym budynku mieszkają dwie inne koszykarki, które Kasia szła właśnie odwiedzić- przyp.red.:) Dziewczyny z obu drużyn dały z siebie wszystko, a emocje sięgnęły zenitu w ostatniej minucie, kiedy to wygrana przechodziła dosłownie z rąk do rąk. Wreszcie, ku naszej radości, Real Canoe Madrid zwyciężył zespół gości wynikiem 79 do 77.
Trzeba nam wspomnieć, że zespół Real Canoe Madrid chicas:) w nastpnym sezonie wskakuje do pierwszej ligi! :D
za 2 tygodnie kolejny mecz, co oznacza kolejne wielkie emocje (dla Moniki:)

Parque de el Retiro
Dzisiejszy dzień spędziliśmy pod znakiem wypoczynku.Dwa dni na uczelni daly nam w kosc :P a Monika to już jest naprawde wykonczona:) Zrobiliśmy mała relacje z najwiekszego parku w Madrycie, tak zwany park dobrego wypoczynku :) Jest to naprawde wielki park, posiada wiele stawików, fontann oraz placyków zabaw naprawde dla wszystkich - dzieci, młodzieży (mini silownie z drazkami) oraz dla starszych osob - placyk do rehabilitacji z różnymi gadgetami w stylu rowerki itd.W tygodniu w parku jest masa osob wypoczywajacych jak i biegajacych w weekend imprezowicze przychodza tu na male after party i maly relax na trawce.Cieżko wyjść z parku nie majac kilku propozycji kupiena zioła:) albo i naczej is realy hard not to buy some weed!!:) warto tez wspomnieć że w madrycie marihuana jest całkiem legalna.

a i wiecej fot zacznie sie od marca ponieważ bedziemy mieli miesieczny bilet ( miesieczne sa od 1 kazdego miesiaca) a buli sie 60 eruro :()
a i prawdopodobnie zaczniemy pisac everything in english :) z przyczyn niezaleznych od nas :P

First day @ UEM
Dzisiaj Marcin i Roger odbyli swoje pierwsze zajecia ktorych tak naprawde nie bylo - zostaly przeniesione na jutro i takim oto sposobem maja wolne we wtorek srode i czwartek :)
Postanowili wiec zrobic mala wizualizacje szkoly UEM :)
Jak widać jest konkretne zaplecze sportowe :)
O to głowne wejście
a tu miejsca gdzie bedą wypoczywać :)
no i cały planik uczelni ...
